Welcome to my photography page - Thanks for taking a look around. My name is Andres Garcia, I'm a photographer based in the Detroit Metropolitan area, shooting all across the Great Lakes region. I shoot on both film and digital media.
I enjoy shooting live events and street photography, as I like to capture candid moments in an editorial style. Shooting film is where my heart is; images on film, though more difficult and less forgiving, provide a feel that cannot be matched by digital sensors. Shooting on film allows an image to be stored physically -- there is no digital file to be lost on a hard drive, or accidentally deleted.
I either develop my own photos, or only use the best labs like Indie Film Lab or Reformed Film Lab for film processing and scanning. I primarily shoot on a Canon F-1, Nikon F100, or Hasselblad 500C using predominantly Kodak and Ilford films, but others are in rotation from time to time.
